Two-Year-Old Guidelines

We look forward to your visit!  Sometimes the first childcare experience is difficult for young 2’s.  To help them adjust, please follow these guidelines:

  • The first 3 visits need to be under 2 hours.  Then, if they do well, hours can be extended to 5 hours.
  • We do not want to stress a child and only let them cry for a maximum of 30 minutes.  If they do not settle down, we call you to pick them up and ask you to try again. Consistency and repetition help children successfully transition to a new environment.
  • We suggest visits are before or after their regular nap.
  • Label all items brought into KidsPark (bags, diapers, sippy cups, change of clothes, etc)
  • Put all diapers into the diaper bin and remember to collect unused items when you leave.
  • Sippy cups need to be leakproof.

Their Birth Certificate needs to be shown on their first visit.
