Illness Policy

HOW WE KEEP KIDS WELL AND SUPPORT YOU

  • Masks are optional; however, if still recovering from an illness, we do request staff, parents and children to wear a mask while still showing symptoms
  • Children may not attend if they have had a fever, vomiting or diarrhea in the last 48 hours
  • If positive for COVID, please let us know and please quarantine for 5 days per the Department of Health guideline. When returning to care, a mask will need to be worn for an additional 5 days.
  • Temperature checks at check-in
  • Frequent handwashing
  • Cleaning and sanitization of the toys throughout the day

Help keep our center a safe and healthy place – if your child is showing any signs of illness, please keep them home. Please be aware that if children are showing symptoms of illness, including but not limited to rash, goopy eyes, etc., children may be sent home and a doctor’s note may be required for them to return the next day.
