KidsPark Sparkler Micro-Grants
We help keep the Arts in the classroom. Please apply.
Small things do count. They can make a difference; have impact. Who doesn’t appreciate -
a sprinkle of glitter,
a splash of cologne,
a dash of salt,
a dab of whip cream,
a bit more dessert,
a nudge in the right direction,
a pat on the shoulder,
a twinkle in an eye?
KidsPark wants to make a difference by enabling kids to experience the Arts, which, to us, is the cherry on the sundae. We strongly believe in the value of art, music, dance and culinary arts to enrich lives and enhance the development of the whole-child. Art, music, dance and culinary arts are activities that promote imagination, self-confidence and social skills.
Beginning in February, KidsPark will award micro-grants for specific art, music, dance, and culinary art events to non-profit licensed preschools through grade 3 classrooms. At KidsPark, children participate in all sorts of activities to cultivate an appreciation and excitement for the Arts. We see its impact and are committed to help kids gain and expand their experiences. If you are in a KidsPark community and need a little help to bring Arts into the classroom or take the kids to an Arts event, please apply! Applications will be available at your center in February.
Grant guidelines:
- Grant for children from preschool thru grade 3.
- Recipients must be a 501(C)(3) non-profit licensed preschool, elementary school (K-3rd grade) or public agency. Grant is to be used to enable children to directly learn about or experience the Arts – art, music, dance and culinary arts. Funds cannot be used for class parties, supply replenishment, teacher resources or teacher training. Proposals must introduce a new media, experience or knowledge. Each grant will not exceed $750.
- We only accept requests from preschools and schools within the KidsPark community, defined as a 15-mile radius around each KidsPark center. If you are unsure, please call the KidsPark, Inc. corporate office 408.213.0973.
- One award per class per year. Grants are awarded monthly.

KidsPark is our school.
Our preschool education program welcomes new enrollments all the time. Remember, there are no additional registration fees; you pick your schedule and pay as you go. Check with your local center for their class schedule.

Challenge yourself and others to a game of Survivor, test your taste buds at the
Fear Factor food station or enjoy American Idol KidsPark style. And, that's just the start.
